2:40am EST

so about this time i have noticed that the site really slows down, i mean REALLY slow, it takes bout 2 min to load a page. Any idea why? is it the hosting location?

I'm also experiencing the same problem yesterday and today. Sometimes it leads to "Server not Found" after 2 mins of loading.

It might be that the site is taking a backup at that time, but it might just be the 3.6.X Vbulletin version. This is running on the same server as signtuarbar, and that doesn't have the same problem....

Let me know if you get the problem at the same time again....

Well... I think the site is up and running in the good possible condition. Maybe just a delay in posting quick replies for a minute, I think.

I'll post here again if the same problem persists.

So yes is seems to start at around 1am EST and continues for about 2hrs

Well, i think it may be because you should be asleep by 2.40 am! That's just my guess...or it just may be because all of the nerds are out at that time, just checking on their/our favorite site. And don't think I'm bashing you, because I am just as much a nerd as the rest of you, not saying you are, but just don't send me hatemail!

Okay, the problem is most likely that time is a large time span of bandwith, since most gamers (like myself sometimes) are playing from around 5pm EST to 3am EST sometimes, or sometime before/after. Or it is just the server for some reason. We should look at the site to see number of posts in problem time period and then see in relation to other times if it is just site traffic or something else.

Yea, that's what I think.

not sure about changing servers, as of now it really only effects 2 people me and geki and i know i dont really mind.

Yeah. Changing servers will be a bad move, in my opinion. It happen to one forum I'm active to, and there are some bad comments about that then they have no choice but to switch back again.
