Yes, indeed.
You will find me saying "Quality rather than Quantity" about forum comments whenever I am asked.
But if you have something to say that adds to our community, and cannot do so in one post, then taking a few more comments is OK too.
Do not forget though that the "Post Count" totals quoted on the main forum page include the Lounge forum comments that are not counted in the individual member totals.
Counting all the respective individual member post count amounts is probably a better indication of the overall activity across the site forums, but somewhat long-winded to do.
Either way, our short-term goal is to gain "topic experts" so that we can pass the responsibility for research & preparing content of stories to others whilst the current staff members can undertake general maintenance of the site & make improvements from suggestions we receive.
We will still write articles, but it means we can also spend more of our time on promotion & marketing of the site in order to increase traffic (and hence members), thus generating more discussion points in order to find other niche areas for further "topic experts".
