Well, so far, the site works great for me. A little sluggish sometimes, but otherwise it's great. This may sound a little cheesy, but, could you maybe make it look a little more unisex...not all gamers are guys. Like for instance, some beige colors, or maybe some blue...just a thought.

Eye-site [sic]
I am the member of another forum, "VBA Express" [ http://www.vbaexpress.com/forum/member.php?u=194 ], where there is a colo[u]r scheme selection drop-down ("Quick Style Chooser") at the foot of the page.
Personally I do not favo[u]r any of the provided schemes, as they are either too garish for my poor eyesight (colo[u]r-blindness) or are too bright for use in an office environment.
The scheme here at 1upGamers I do like... but yes, the more enticing the site is, the more members we may see join.
How about a limited edition "pink" for the Christmas console market?
BFN,
fp.

Personally, I like the color scheme as it is now. Oddly enough, it reminds me of retro gaming.

Actually, it does kinda have that retro feel to it, but I was just wondering about the red. I still like beige (not my fav color, just for sites) you know to take away from the sting of looking at bright colors. Or maybe we could choose our own color schemes as was previously mentioned (fanpages).

Well i guess this is one of those things where people would always like it slightly different but what I am getting is that overall the site is pretty much liked. But Maybe as FP suggests we could have some extra schemes which the user can select for their own viewing.
They wouldnt be anything out of this world probably just the same scheme with different colour combinations.. e.g. instead of red, have one with blue, etc etc.. Have something like that

I really don't have a problem with the red. It seems pretty unisex to me.
Anyways great job 1UP! I just want to compliment you on the layout which I think fits this site really well. The members here are friendly and this just makes the forum that much more appealing. So congratulations on having a great forum!
