It’s what they fondly call the Strong Arm game type, and it answers directly the problem of the Multiplayer mode in span style=font-style: italic;GTA IV/span.brbrHow does this work? Well it’s been demoed in a href=http://xbox360.qj.net/tags/san-francisco/3135 id=tag title=Fourth largest city in CaliforniaSan Francisco/a just last week and a href=http://xbox360.qj.net/tags/mtv/458 id=tag title=MTV/a Multiplayer vouches for its feasibility. In the Strong Arm game, the objective changes, thereby you don’t get the feeling of being immersed for too long in one particular mode. Another good thing is that you won’t have to feel totally inept at playing a game type that is not particularly your strongest suit. brbrThis flexibility sure sounds like it takes into account a greater deal of fun. Imagine, you can be driving around with your hommies on a mission, and then later on you’re out to complete a cash grab.brbrSo will this new game gimmick work for span style=font-style: italic;Saints Row 2/span? As of this writing, we can’t tell just yet. It’s sounding pretty awesome, though. Red Faction: Guerilla - exclusive Walker trailer

Not built for comfort. Not built for finesse. Just total destruction. That’s how the Walker for THQ’s Red Faction: Guerilla (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC) is described, and when you see the exclusive trailer for it, you’ll have to agree, too.
And while seeing the mean mining monster machine in action is a treat in itself already, the end portion of the trailer reveals that you can get more goodies by pre-ordering the Red Faction: Guerilla Collector’s Edition. If you do, you’ll receive a home-crafted Walker figurine, while supplies last.

Sega has THQ in its sights, not Activision and EA

In a recent conversation with Forbes, Sega of America said through its president Simon Jeffrey that it’s now competing with the “next tier” of publishers, but it isn’t quite ready to take on the giants just yet.
Jeffrey said that his company has been able to compete with such names as Capcom, Midway, and Eidos over the past few years and now he says the company feels ready to challenge bigger competitors. From a business standpoint, he said Sega is most comparable to THQ.
“THQ is a good company for us to model ourselves on and go after in terms of market share,” said Jeffrey. He added that their firm has doubled its shares on the market annually and this puts them in a good position for more success.
“We don’t intend to be an Activision or an Electronic Arts - one of those juggernauts. We’re actually really happy where we are. We can be small and agile and yet extremely profitable and successful,” he concludes.
